Troy Collins
Troy Collins joined the Home Port Alliance/Battleship New Jersey in June of 2002. He is responsible for the management, growth and maturation of the Museum and Memorial including those areas in marketing, sales, operations, finance, human resources, membership, development, curatorial and educational programs. Mr. Collins is also responsible for the long-term strategic planning for the Alliance.
Before joining the Battleship, Mr. Collins was with Clear Channel Worldwide, a $60 billion company that is the leader in radio station ownership, outdoor advertising and live entertainment including music, theatrical, family and sports product. He joined Clear Channel in 1998 serving in various roles including Talent Executive and Tour Producer for the Philadelphia division (while it was still Electric Factory Concerts) and was then promoted to Executive Director of the Tweeter Center in Camden, one of the nations most successful venues of its type. Most recently he served as a consultant to the company's Family Entertainment Division in New York City. During his service with Clear Channel, Mr. Collins also served on the Board of Directors for Cooper's Ferry Development Association.
Prior to his employment with Clear Channel, Mr. Collins was the Director of Event Development for Radio City Productions in New York City. There, Mr. Collins was responsible for the management and development of Radio City's licensed properties including the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. In addition to managing properties in Branson, Myrtle Beach and Detroit, he successfully developed licensed properties in Chicago, Los Angeles and Mexico City.
Mr. Collins began his career with Comcast-Spectacor where he served for seven years in various capacities within the Entertainment Division at SMG, the world's largest private manager of arenas, stadium, theatres and convention centers.
Troy is a graduate of the University of Maryland. He is a member of Philadelphia's Army/Navy Game Host Committee and is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Jewish Community Center of Southern New Jersey and the South Jersey Cultural Alliance. He resides in Voorhees, New Jersey with his wife Sharice and his two children, Nicole age 8 and Jacob age 6.
